Thanks for all the input today, and thanks to Donna for bringing sandwiches...
Todays time was fairly productive as we set into motion a strategy for the upcoming 'Information Gatherings.' A small group of folks will meet Wed. Dec. 6th at 7pm in the Coffee Shop to lay out the details for the upcoming information sessions. The sessions will be held on Dec. 9th from 6:15-7:00 pm and December 17th at 9:30 am, 11 am, and 12 noon. All information sessions will be held in the Covenant Room. Please plan to attend these information gatherings if you are available.
If you have any thoughts, comments, or questions from todays meeting please email me or post them here...
As well, if you have any thoughts about the worship notebooks or name tag design please post a comment....

Mark asked that I transcribe the invitation to sign in used by Pastor Adam at the Church of the Resurection in KC.
At 28 minutes into the service...
At this time we invite the ushers to come forward And they’re going to be passing you the attendance notebooks...
If you would please sign in to let us know that you were here, we’d be most grateful
And as you’re signing in, would you take a look and see who’s sitting next to you and be sure to welcome those persons by name following the service of worship
If you would, once those are passed to the end of the aisle, be sure to pass them back to the beginning of the aisle so folks on the other side can see who you are
And if you’re a first time visitor from our community, we’d like to invite you to help yourself to the information that’s on the left-hand side of the attendance notebooks – it’ll tell you more about who we are and about this congregation – please feel free to help yourself
Now we move in our service of worship – we’ve been siging God’s praise and we’ve been lifting up our prayers to the Lord – but now we move to that point where we begin to listen for God to speak to us – First God’s word in Song, Scripture, and then in Sermon.
Soloist sings a 3 ½ minute song while attendance pads are passed
Song ends, invite all to stand in honor for reading of scripture
