This is a
little late this week…sorry. I had some minor surgery on Tuesday
afternoon and just came in last night for our evening ministries. So, if
I seemed a little out of it, that’s why J
Many thanks to
the McNeely family for sharing about World Vision and the 30
Hour Famine in worship last weekend and for working at the table. It
looks like about 8 kids were taken for sponsorship. We still have some
available and would love for you to stop by as a family to sponsor a child
through World Vision. We will have a booth by Hedrick Hall and
in the Coffee House this weekend for you to pick your child!! For just $35 a
month, YOU can change a child’s life.
Also, Young
Spirit sounded awesome last night at the Ash Wednesday Worship and Trinity
did an excellent job with the candles and handing out bulletins.
All of our
YOUTH MINISTRIES are going strong, I encourage you to be involved in absolutely
everything you can be. It is an unbelievable time together growing in
faith!
Here’s What’s Happening This Week…
Friday,
February 19th
For those of
you who have signed up, remember our fast begins at NOON on Friday.
No eating after
that time. You may drink juice, water, pop, milk (no shakes J), but cannot eat.
We will meet here
at 9 p.m. for our all-nighter which will focus on the effects of hunger around
the world.
Our all-nighter
will end at 7:30 a.m. Then, we will join together again at 5:30 p.m. for
CSN on Saturday Night and then break our fast together following worship.
Remember, each
of you needs to collect at least $45 and please bring that $$ with you in the
envelope you received.

*Confirmation Retreat is March 5-7, 2010.
Registration forms were handed out at our class times, but if you have not
received yours, please let me know.
* Mountain T.O.P. Registration Forms will be out soon and
are due back March 3rd for our incredible High School Mission Trip
to Tennessee. If you are currently in high school, you are eligible to
join us. We will also need adult sponsors, so if you are
interested…please talk with Paige as soon as you know for sure.
